HELP
Why doesn't my mouse switch when I switch my keyboard?
Many Logitech keyboards and mice can pair with up to three computers. On the keyboard, the Easy-Switch™ keys are the 1, 2 and 3 keys, usually along the top row. On the mouse, it's a small Easy-Switch button, often underneath.
Each device keeps track of its own channel. When you press 2 on the keyboard, only the keyboard moves to computer 2. The mouse has no way to know you switched, so it stays where it was until you press its own button.
Your options
- Switch each device by hand. Press the Easy-Switch key on the keyboard, then the Easy-Switch button on the mouse. This always works, but it means turning the mouse over every time.
- Use Logitech Flow™. Flow is part of Logi Options+™. It switches when you move the cursor past the edge of one screen onto the next computer's screen. Both computers need Logi Options+ and need to be on the same network.
- Use BoltMate. BoltMate switches when you press 1, 2 or 3 on the keyboard: it notices the switch and moves your mouse, and any other paired devices, to the same computer. It needs a Logi Bolt™ receiver in each computer, and the computers on the same network.
Will BoltMate work with my setup?
You need devices connected through a Logi Bolt receiver, not Bluetooth, with one receiver plugged into each computer. The computers can be Macs running macOS 14 or later, Windows 11 PCs, or a mix. The compatibility checklist takes about thirty seconds.
