FOR LOGITECH BOLT KEYBOARDS & MICE

Switch computers once.
Your keyboard and mouse go together.

Share one Logitech keyboard and mouse across two or three computers? Press 1, 2, or 3 on your keyboard and your whole set — mouse included — lands on that computer together. No flipping the mouse over to find its switch.

HOW IT WORKS

Press one key. Everything follows.

Logitech devices each pair with up to three computers — on your keyboard that's the 1 / 2 / 3 keys along the top row (Logitech calls them Easy-Switch). Every device tracks its own channel independently, and your mouse's switch is a small button underneath it. BoltMate keeps them together: press a key on the keyboard and everything else follows.

1

You press 1, 2, or 3

On your keyboard, the way you already do. Nothing new to learn and nothing new to reach for.

2

BoltMate notices

It sees which computer you switched to, and tells your other computers on the same network.

3

Everything else catches up

Your mouse lands on the same computer right away — no picking it up, no flipping it over to find its switch.

COMPATIBILITY

Will this work for me?

BoltMate works with Logitech keyboards and mice connected through a Bolt receiver — that's the whole audience. If that's you, here's how to be sure in about thirty seconds.

You need

  • A Logitech Bolt receiver in each computer. The small USB dongle with the Bolt logo that came with your keyboard or mouse. One per computer — they're sold separately if you're short.
  • A keyboard with 1 / 2 / 3 keys, paired to those receivers. Look along the top row — if three of the keys are marked 1, 2 and 3 inside small outlines, that's the one.
  • A mouse paired to the same receivers. It doesn't need any particular buttons — BoltMate moves it for you.
  • Two or three computers, running macOS 12 or later, or Windows 11.
  • The same network, if you want the computers to stay in sync with each other.

It won't work if

  • Your devices connect over Bluetooth instead of through a Bolt receiver. BoltMate talks to the receiver, so there's nothing for it to listen to.
  • You have the older Unifying receiver rather than Bolt. The logo on the dongle tells you which is which.
  • You only use one computer — there's nothing to switch between.

ALONGSIDE FLOW

What about Logitech Flow?

BoltMate runs independently of Flow. It's a different route to the same place — switching from the keyboard rather than the cursor.

FLOW

Switches when your cursor crosses the screen edge

BOLTMATE

Switches when you press 1, 2, or 3 on your keyboard

Run them together or run BoltMate on its own — it doesn't depend on Flow either way.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Nothing ever leaves your network.

BoltMate does one job, on your own network, without phoning home.

LAN-only, always

Your computers announce themselves to each other on your local network, and nothing else. No cloud, no relay — no traffic crosses the internet.

No keystroke logging

macOS will ask for a permission called "Input Monitoring" — the name is alarming, and it's worth explaining. BoltMate needs it to hear the switch button on your keyboard. It does not read what you type, and it has no way to send anything anywhere.
